We task our reporters with identifying several intriguing games throughout the state to assemble our Top Games of the Week. The matchups are presented in no particular order, and when there are additional games we want to highlight, we’ll include them with brief notes.
Eastview vs. Farmington, 7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 18. The Lightning (10-2, 5-1) are sitting a game back of the South Suburban Conference lead, which is held by the Tigers (13-0, 6-0), who are fresh off a dominating performance against Shakopee.
Chaska vs. Robbinsdale Cooper, 7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 15. Chaska (10-3, 3-0) and Robbinsdale Cooper (7-6, 3-0) enter this game unbeaten in the Metro West Conference. That will change on Tuesday.
Norwood-Young America vs. Tri-City United, 7:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 18. The Raiders (10-2, 4-1) begin the week a half-game behind the Titans (9-5, 5-1) in the race for the Minnesota River Conference title.
