And the winner is...MN Girls' Hockey Hub Top Performer revealed

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Girls' Hockey Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top performer winner

Jessie Ketola, North Shore. The senior forward registered a season-high six points in a 9-2 win over Fairmont on Dec. 27, as she scored four goals at even strength and helped the Storm's power play go 2-for-3 with two assists.

Top performer candidates

Rose Beeman, Benilde-St. Margaret's. The junior goaltender recorded her third shutout in four games on Dec. 27, when she made 32 saves in a 3-0 win against Cretin-Derham Hall. Beeman ranks fifth in the state with a 1.21 goals against average and third with a .948 save percentage.

Danielle Burgen, Chisago Lakes. The freshman recorded her 10th multi-point game of the season and helped lead the Wildcats' offense in an 8-0 rout of Marshall on Dec. 28. She scored three goals and added four assists.

Jada Habisch, Buffalo. The junior forward had a hand in every Bison goal in their 5-2 win over Spring Lake Park on Dec. 26. She tallied two goals and two assists at even strength and took advantage of the Bison's only power-play opportunity by assisting on a goal. 

Ally Halverson, Rochester John Marshall. Halverson picked a perfect night to have a career game, as she rivaled Worthington's eight goals with nine points of her own. In an 11-8 Rockets win on Dec. 28, the senior forward scored one goal short-handed and added five more goals and three assists at even strength.

Lindsey Hays, Mankato West. After assisting on the Scarlets' first two goals, the senior scored the game-tying goal midway through the third period of a Dec. 28 game against Minnehaha United. Hays then played the part of overtime hero, scoring with 33 seconds left in the overtime period to give the Scarlets a 5-4 win.

Mariah Marek, New Prague. The freshman goaltender made just one mistake in the Trojans' 2-1 overtime win over Simley. Despite allowing a third-period power-play goal, Marek made 39 saves in the Dec. 27 game, including four in overtime

Rachel Miller, St. Francis/North Branch. The senior goaltender made 40 saves, posting a .976 save percentage in a 1-1 tie against Totino-Grace on Dec. 26.

Maddy Peterson, Princeton. Peterson contributed an impressive 10 points in the Tigers' 11-0 win against CPET (Canada) on Dec. 27. The senior forward scored five goals and added five assists — including one on the power play and one short-handed.

Jaiden Schuster, Austin. The senior forward recorded her first multi-point game of the season on Dec. 27 — scoring four goals and adding one assist in a 6-3 win over Worthington.
